No, just to make it easier to find it... howl likes to install itself in 
/usr/include/howl, but howl.h is broken and #include <howl/howl.h> will 
not work...

I put in an option to switch it off at runtime, as I suspect that's 
what's causing the lockserver instability in Win32.
