okay thanks, that makes that easy then.  i need domain integration with
pserver which works great with 1.11.1 so i'll stick with that and deal
with any issues that arrise.

we use pptp (about to move to ipsec and a cisco vpn concentrator) for the
same purpose.  we use ssl/cvs on unix for access to customers that we
don't want to give access to our corporate network.

okay, that's what i wanted to know.  i didn't set them either and
everything seemed to work fine, but i kept seeing people talking about
them and wondered what the deal was.
