The documentation suggests you need pserver for Windows 9x and we're likely
to have someone using Windwos 98 over the internet, so we have to be extra
careful. ;-)

However, I am pleased that it appears I have interpreted the documentation
correctly.

Good, I'm always a little concerned about fiddling until it works, rather
than doing what the instructions say.

Ah! I see. After a bit of fiddling I was able to log in. My passwd file now
looks like this:

pg1:
pg1:!Chorleys

pg1 is my username and Chorleys our network domain. Notice that I haven't
given myself a password. If I do the authentication stops working again. Is
this because I need to encrypt the password and paste it in? If so where can
I get pwgen.exe?

I understand and agree with what you're saying, but how do I do it?

Thanks!

Paul
