Hi,
I am getting the following error when trying to check
out a repository.
cvs checkout -P hl_scripts (in directory C:\)
cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server
(consult above messages if any)
*****CVS exited normally with code 1*****
I am using WinCVS 1.2 under win2kpro, connecting to a
linux repository via the windows build of ssh (not
cygwin). It prompts me for a password, and then
displays this message. I can successfully ssh to the
machine normally, via:
ssh2 -l <username> <hostname>
I was able to connect properly several days ago, but
it seems to have failed now. I am not getting any
errors besides the end of file error, so I'm not sure
where I should start looking.
I checked the archives, and found lots of people with
similar problems, but none exactly the same, and none
with solutions that helped me out.
If anyone can figure out what the problem is, I would
greatly appreciate it.
