[Cvsnt] CVS reports: cvs [XYZ aborted]: reading from server: Invalid argument

This is because the task manager does not enable the SE_DEBUG_NAME right in
it's
process (even though it has the right, if you are an admin). This privilege
is
required in order to kill services. You could, if you wanted to, run task
manager from a process that already enabled the SE_DEBUG_NAME privilege, and
task manager would simply inherit the privilege and then it would be able to
kill services.
It's probably a lot easier to just use the kill utility.

I believe that task manager won't let one kill a service process, including
administrators.
