I am using the LockDir parameter to avoid giving all cvsweb users write per=
mission to my repository files. Cvsweb can work because its impersonation =
matches the permissions on the repository. The annotate feature does not w=
ork. I have determined that this is because cvsweb uses the "cvs server" c=
ommand and streams protocol to it. When operating in this mode, the cvs pr=
ogram does not parse the config file and so does not pick up the lock dir p=
arameter. It then tries to create locks in the repository directory.=0D

Is anyone aware of a version of cvswebnt that does not work in this way, or=
of any other solutions to this problem. Ideally, the cvs command would ob=
ey the LockDir command.=0D

Thanks,=0D
