Hello all,

I'm new to the list so be gentle....

I'm trying to install cvsnt on a win2K server using pserver the cvsroot in exists, I'm using passwd file for authentication, and the service starts properly.

My client setting is:
export CVSROOT=":pserver:tim at hostname:f:\cvs"

What happens is it hangs every time I do 'cvs login' and never comes back whether it's from cvs command line in cygwin or wincvs. I've tried 'telnet hostname 2401' but that hangs too.

I've searched the archives for resolution but cant' seem to find one. Has anyone else had this problem? I can't figure out why it's not working.

Thanks for any help!

Tim
