I recently had a problem transferring a repository from windows to unix.
The checkout out copies of the administrative files in CVSROOT/
had CRLF terminated lines which the unix version didn't like, so
it choked on CVSROOT/config.
It worked fine when I re-inited the repository and only copied
the module over.
