I have the following problem: after updating the CVS server to the newest version (Build 57j) my taginfo script, what was working fine before, now fails. WinCvs displays the message: The following character string is too long: ... ... cvs server: Pre-tag check failed cvs [server aborted]: correct the above errors first! I know that this happens because all files and the corresponding revision numbers are passed to the script on the commandline. Does someone know a solution ? Best regards, Sven
