Hi Richard

You can use rtag with a suitable -D option to tag what was head at
midnight.

Regards,

anders

Subject: [cvsnt] Tagging a removed file

Hi all,

Using:

d:\firmware2\build>cvs -v

Concurrent Versions System (CVS) NT 1.11.1.1 (Build 27)
 (client/server)

Copyright (c) 1989-2001 Brian Berliner, david d `zoo' zuhn,
                        Jeff Polk, and other authors
Win32 version (Aug 2 2001) Copyright (c) 1999-2001 Tony Hoyle and
others
see http://www.cvsnt.org

we can't seem to tag a file that's in the attic. We want to tag a
snapshot as of last midnight, but this morning some one removed one of
the files. The file is needed for the system as of midnight, but not as
of now. Is there a solution to this dilemma? Is it a bug?

Thanks,

Spike
