That looks like a networking error.  How did you get that output?
(it's strange that you have the 'U' line before the 'Updating' line).

Unfortunately all the AD machines here have been shut down (AD
interferes with the operation of the NT4 domains so it's been
ditched).  I'll see if I've got any old vmware images around I can
test with.
