I'm not creating the entry.. it's probably created automatically by the 
installer.

App Paths only works on files clicked on from explorer.  It doesn't work 
from the command line - even Microsoft have to ship the 'vcvars32.bat' file 
so you can execute their command line utilities.

OTOH you almost never need to set the path for GUI things anyway so App 
Paths is rather useless really.
