Hi all !

trying for a few days to start a CVS NT service by myself, I finally switch
to help seeking... :)
first, I found it hard to log on the very server itself : after reading a
lot of tutorials, and reinstalling from scratch each time, I finally went to
the conclusion that it could be done by using local users and a local drive
for storing the repository.

well...ok ! now, what I want is to start coding... :)
I try to checkout the modules file (cvs checkout CVSROOT/modules) but it
ends up in saying :

cvs [server aborted]: can't chdir(y:): No such file or directory

(by the way I don't have any Y: drive, and even after connecting one, it
still doesn't work...)
moreover, this error appears each time I want to checkout (commit, update,
import, export and others do work... well as far as I can tell, newbie as I
am)...

may anyone help me ?

thanks,
A+, Guillaume.

PS : I checked file permissions, they're set to Total Control for Everyone
(and I added System)
