[cvsnt] 'state' not where expected

That sounds like there's something wrong with the file.  Look at it in
wordpad... there should be lots of lines near the top that look like:

date     2003.03.30.16.51.09;  author tmh;  state Exp;

One of those presumably has something odd in it.

What version of server is this?
