Anything from random error to total loss of the repository, with anything in
between.

You can also expect other apps to misbehave (Visual studio will apparently
randomly delete source files with it enabled) - it's not a cvsnt problem,
it just happens to break the OS in ways that are critical for the operation
of cvs.  AFAIK it's only the Norton implementation that is so critically
flawed... I haven't had any corruption reports from other AV packages, not
that I trust them...
