To add to this the tag is removed from the file.  It's actually
designed this way, but I can't for the life of me work out why anyone
would want to remove tags in this way when 'tag -d' works just as well
(and it's so counterintuitive nobody's thought of trying it until
today...)

The next version will behave more sanely.
