Fwd: [cvsnt] VIRUS IN YOUR MAIL

Community technical support mailing list was retired 2010 and replaced with a professional technical support team. For assistance please contact: Pre-sales Technical support via email to sales@march-hare.com.

Have you considered configuring the mailing list to only accept messages
from subscribers? There are tradeoffs involved to doing that, but it
would eliminate these posts (since, for example,
postmaster at mail-relay2.sift.co.uk is probably not a subscriber to this
list).

The virus (sobig I presume) fakes from addresses. Some people have
braindead AV scanners that blindly spam every faked address with these
'warnings'.

I'd start blacklisting, but it's a moving target at the moment... best
to wait until it calms down a bit.
