Community technical support mailing list was retired 2010 and replaced with a professional technical support team. For assistance please contact: Pre-sales Technical support via email to sales@march-hare.com.

There were a couple proposed a little while back--Dave had a nice one that
included automatic date-stamping (below) and I had one that did a
directory-based aging.

I put together a quick wiki page for you to refer to (and others after you
as well since this comes up once in awhile).

I'm not sure where would be best to link it in from the rest of the wiki.
Anyone have ideas, go ahead and link it in. It does pop up to the top of
the search list if anyone searches for "backup".

Subject: [cvsnt] Backup of CVS NT

Does anyone have a command file that can make a good backup of the CVS
repositories. Basically I want to make a snapshot of the CVS and .ZIP it all
into one file that can be archived.
Any hints etc would be much appreciated.

Sorry if this is an "old topic" but the Web archives of this group are down
at the moment.
