Guided by the installation instruction InstallCVSNT.html i came to number 9 and failed with the next error "cvs [passwd aborted]: Couldn't connect to named pipe on remote machine: Error 1231" when i type on the cmd. cvs passwd -a myusername The user is on windows 2000 local computer. I am sure that the server is running.
