Short answer: Read about the WRITERS and READERS in the CVSROOT as well as
NTFS permissions for good places to start.

Longer answer: I have my setup including read-only users, and I documented
it in the CVSNT wiki at http://www.cvsnt.org/wiki/SetAcl.  I don't know if
you are using NTFS permissions or any other details of your implementation
(because you didn't specify them), but you can look in there.

hello,

i want to set up a bunch of users with only read permissions on a
repository.
they should not be able to modify the archive with the commit command.

i could swear that i´ve seen a description around but don´t remember where.

my passwd file looks like this
the users are part of a domain calles "NP"
<<<<<<<<<<<<
klitschko:!NP
lewis:!NP
<<<<<<<<<<<<

how can i setup the user "lewis" for only read permission?
