SYSTYEM and User Environment Variables may be different. For SYSTEM set parameters under ALL Users. IIS is started by SYSTEM and thus things that ruyn under it (ViewCVS scripts) need SYSTEM/IUSR/IWAM permissions and environment settings. Check all your directory permissions. Ensure that your SYSTEM temp directory has access by IWAM/IUSR accounts used by IIS. Update ViewCVS (viewcvs-1.0.dev-win-r3.zip) - required to not abort on new repo file fields like commitid. Ensure that the diff executables are in the SYSTEM Path (May be different from the user Path). Note that you need both diff programs: ViewCVS calls rcsdiff.exe, which calls diff.exe (rcsdiff extracts the versions, and uses GNU diff.exe to compare them). There are many diff.exe programs, ensure the correct one is installed first in the path. Try running rcsdiff from the command line to see if it can access diff.exe properly. In viewcvs.conf set: use_cvsgraph = 1 cvsgraph_path = x:\yyy\zzz To debug, cut and paste the command from the ViewCVS/Python error message to a DOS window, then look more closely at the output.
