Well,
it's there in the form of a link to my website as before...
How do I go about actually putting the stuff on Wiki on the cvsnt server?
I rely on CSS files, are these supported in Wiki?

My step-step guide is really bloated these days after I just added and added
stuff. probably needs a bit of restructuring to get navigable again and also
some new screenshots. I did them all just hours before 2.0.0 came out so now
I have to uninstall and start over on these so that what si shown on the page
actually reflects what is seen when installing.

And by the way, wouldn't it be nice to change the default bitmaps on the
InnoSetup windows to something else. I can think of replacing the small image
in the upper right corner on each page with the green fish. But then there is
the greeting page where a much larger image is located to the left.
Is anyone 'artistic' enough to take this on? It won't improve CVSNT a bit so
we should not entice Tony to spend time on it, but someone else might be able
to do it?
We changed these images where I work and the installer looks that much better.

Anyways,
I will have a look at the instructions for Wiki if I get time to spare.

Bo

They are already there.

I have also started outlining some of the 3rd party tools to work with CVS.
It's rough at the moment, I just wanted to scratch out ideas. I will add
touch ups to them when I feel like a break from what I am *meant* to be
doing :)

Everyone, feel free to add or change anything.

Bo, would you be willing to put your instructions up on the wiki?

Thanks Keith!

I would start by adding Bo's instructions to a page,
maybe splitting it into several pages.

Maybe these would be a good start:

- introduction to CVSNT, relevant web links.
- initial installation on server
- choosing and setting up the protocol you want to use
- granting access rights to users
- installing clients: command line, TCVS, CvsGui
- different tools and their setup

Then, somebody who is doing installation from
scratch could then update parts they got wrong
with the first try.

Wiki is nice, but I've never added to one.... I would have a bit of
time if somebody would tell me what they want on the page

OK, great. Now, I know nothing about Wiki setup. Any volunteers?

There must be someone on this list. If nobody shows up, I'll do it, but
please, I have three small kids at home.

OK there's an empty wiki on http://www.cvsnt.org/wiki. If someone wants
to have a go at an installation guide there they can...

Wikis have always seemed a bit anarchic for me, but I'm willing to give
it a go.

Tony
