Hi,

When someone else do add a subdirectory to the project,
what is the correct way to get the added subdirectory
and its content to the working copy?

I thought that switching to the working-copy local root directory
and typing "cvs update" could do the job; however, it does
not.

The "cvs checout subdir" does the thing (it looks so),
but the newly added subdir is not captured in the CVS subdir
on the same level (i.e. it is not added to the Entries
file). Because of that, the next "cvs update" on the
working-copy root directory does not update the content
of the subdir.

I must have missed something important. Could you explain it?

Thanks for your time and experience,

  Petr
