[cvsnt] command line update resets read-only attribute

When I use update command (at command line), it update the files but 
reset 'read-only' attributes of all files.
Any idea about how to do 'read-only' updates?

I am using update command with '-A -d' options. (e.g., cvs update -A -d 
....)
