In practice it's not much of an issue - people don't generally write
comments that look like that (especially with exactly that number of
dashes and equals signs).

You can mitigate the '-----' problem slightly by looking for
'revision' on the next line.

In theory WinCVS has the same issue and I've not heard of any real
problems with it happening.
