I have no idea -- I just set it back to the same as the physical name 
since it wasn't that important (personal repository) and I wanted the 
script to work.  I would imagine though that a script written with that 
knowledge would be able to work properly, so it's quite possible it's by 
design (although a little confusing).  It shouldn't be hard to correct 
the cvsspam script to work with CVSNT.
