Hi Curtis, 

Another alternative would be to use CVS to store 
a script which will create all the special files 
you need. 

As an analogy, most people don't store object 
files in CVS: They store the source files whereby 
the object files can be recreated. 

Think about it this way:  Do you ever need to 
concurrently develop /dev/null? :-)
