You should set up a repository prefix (e.g. D:\cvs) at the server which 
will make the path look more "unixy".
I'm not sure whether this will be the end of it though. In the past 
there have been numerous discussions indicating that the Eclipse people 
(or rather the IBM/WSAD people behind them) are deliberately trying to 
shut out CVSNT for no specific reason...

Was that a typo? 2.0.4 is rather old already. The latest recommended 
release would be 2.0.41a. Among other things, numerous workarounds to 
some of the abovementioned "WSAD boycott techniques" were included in 
later releases.
