it INSISTS on trying to write files like .#2664 in my cvsroot subdirectory
whenever I try to update config, cvsignore, cvswrappers which then aborts
and the "administration" files don't get updated and I canNOT properly use
the repository. Any help would be appreciated.
Apparently when I updated originally, I managed to change one of the two
repositories on my system, but not the other, but no amount of lying to the
system (copying the cvsignore and .#cvsignore and cvsignore,v from one
repository to the other, then rebooting the system will fix the lock
problem (of course I copied the config, .#config and config,v too)
help!!
