You can make a .zap file which will deploy non-microsoft software, and does 
the same thing (I'm no expert though.. it's not a mechanism I'd heard of until 
5 minutes ago).

There's also http://www.appdeploy.com/downloads/detail.asp?id=340, which wraps 
setup.exe files.
