No, it is not!
You have succeeded in updating your sandbox to the sticky tag "main"
which means you are no longer on an updatable branch.
You should have done this instead:
cvs update -A
or possibly
cvs update -r HEAD

since this resets all tags and brings you right back to the top of the
TRUNK (to HEAD revision of all files).

"main" is not a branch!
