Suppose two programmers checkout two copies of the same binary file and edit
it. How do you merge binary files such as Microsoft Access or Microsoft
Word, or Excel or.
I can understand the logic of not locking source code files. Is it not
necessary to lock binary files with an exclusive lock? Does cvsnt implement
exclusive locks? I don't remember seeing such a command in the
documentation. Can someone point me to the place in the documentation that
discusses how to deal with simultaneous edits of binary files?
