He should also have the passwords synchronized, not blank, for proper SSPI automatic logins. Better off though to set up a small Linux box with Samba as a PDC for his small domain, then he doesn't need to worry about password synchronization (but there's a learning curve, might be easier to shell out some cash for a Win server). -- Glen Starrett
