Im using the following version. Not sure if it support the :sspi. What
changed I will need to make in order to migrate from :ntserver to :sspi.?

:ntserver: is long since discontinued. No support anymore.
You should switch to :sspi: instead.

None of these protocols use the passwd file for authentication...
