Dear all,

i'm just a little bit confused about a behaviour.

Our cvs server runs on Solaris and has actually the version 1.11.1p1.
Normally this version doesn't support cvs edit -c. If i use this with
original cvs (1.12.10) client i get: "cvs.exe [edit aborted]: Server does
not support enforced advisory locks."

But it work's fine when i use cvsnt.

Why? Was the feature already released in 1.11? If so, checks the version
1.12 from cvs the version of the server and produces the message cause of
the version (although the feature is implemented)?

Thanks for information to become a little bit closer to this behaviour.

Greetings

Frank
