Weird... PDF files have a *very* unique signature that you can check for.

The way my little app does its stuff is to only look at files that are *not*
already wrapped. Then, only if 100% sure its unicode or binary does it set
the wrappers... it assumes files are text unless otherwise proven.

The main pain is with import... get the wrappers wrong, and your binaries
get screwed... this just tries to ease the pain.
