cvs commit "message" filename
cvs tag Ver_1-0 filename

Possibly you have to add a command line switch to cvs tag to tell it that it is OK
to move the existing tag. look in the CVS reference manual for that.

Subject: [cvsnt] Query Related to Tags in CVS (Please reply immediately)

Hi,
I want to know one information from you. Actually i have given a tag for a particular set of modified files say "ver_1-0" (this is the latest tag and no more tags are given afterwards) . Now i want to modify one of those files and put in the repository with the same tag "ver_1-0". can i do this , if yes please suggest me a way as soon as possible, if no please tell me the reason.

                                                                                                                regards,
                                                                                                                Gopi B.
