Hi all,

I'm runing CVSNT 2.5.01 (Travis) Build 1927 on WinXP Pro.

I can't seem to connect to my CVS repository which is located on a USB
HD (that I can't set file system security on). I get this message:

C:\development>cvs -d :pserver:jpk at localhost:e:/cvs login
Logging in to :pserver:jpk at localhost:2401:e:/cvs
CVS password: *******
cvs [login aborted]: Error reading from server localhost: -1: Unknown error

where e: is a USB-based external HD.

Here are my CVS server settings:

Run as user: jpk
Default Domain: JPK-T42 (NetBIOS computer name)
CVS server port: 2401
Lockserver: localhost (Port: 2402)
Repositories - Server Name: jpk-usb-hd
Repository - Name: /cvs
Repository - Root E:/cvs

Any ideas?

thanks,
jpk
