We are using Trend Micro AV software. I'll see about disabling it and
re-running my tests. The test server is not running any AV software, but
the production server is (Trend as well), but it hasn't had any problems.

We aren't using any network shares, it's always to a local disk. As I said,
I'm able to get this with 2.0.51d and 2.0.62.1817 clients. My os is XP SP2
with automatic updates enabled. Our build machine is identical which also
has similar problems.

Is there any additional logging I can enable to get a better picture of
what's happening?

Thanks,

John Cole

Windows 9x reports 'Bad address' when a file is locked by an AV, but
I've not
heard of NT doing it, except over network shares (which don't behave
consistently anyway).
