I should have given you a heads up on this one Tony.  I've been
corresponding with Derek over on info-cvs.

The core dump ONLY happens when used with a CVSNT client, all other
clients it doesn't core dump.

Whilst it most likely is a situation that should be fixed on the server,
the cause can probably only be determined from the client.

I've already requested that Derek send a trace (-ttt) and two
$CVS_CLIENT_LOG's (one from cvsnt and one from a non-core-dumping unix
cvs).  Of course without that there is nothing to analyze...
