cvs update -CdP -r "tag" folder will not result in a get of every file in folder or it's sub directories unless the CVS folders exist in the folder hierachy. Playing around last night I found that cvs checkout will build the structure if it doesn't exist. The problem using checkout instead of update will be if someone has exclusive access to a file(s). Will CVS still give me a copy of the file? Cheers Brian
