The odd thing is that I have had this problem for so long I never thought
about it. Also, I can only reproduce it on our Windows 2003 server. All
other machine don't require this.

Sounds like an MSI issue... the cvsnt installer is perfectly standard so
shouldn't need anything changing.

There's a couple of known bugs with the Windows 2000 MSI version, but
apparently these are fixed in SP4... can't find anything similar for XP
documented.
