Hi, I did not get any answer to my pervious question so I will try to ask again in a different way: In CVSNT for windows: Does anyone know what affects the permission field in file_name,v? What could be the reason that two files that were "added" and "committed" in the same way got different values in the permission field (233, 666). Thanks, Nataly
