Community technical support mailing list was retired 2010 and replaced with a professional technical support team. For assistance please contact: Pre-sales Technical support via email to sales@march-hare.com.

The official "best practicies" by the CVSNT authors is this:
http://march-hare.com/cvsnt/features/book/

"Pragmatic Version Control" and "Essential CVS" are both great books but
only cover the "Unreserved Distributed" methodology and only CVS (no
CVSNT features). Modern SCM best practice makes defect tracking
integration essential which is why CVSNT supports bug numbers and
grouping edit's, commits and merges by bug number. That alone makes
most of those earlier books pretty dated.
