Hi,

it seems that the "cvs edit -x" doesn't work as expected.

When I do exclusive lock onto a file which is currently locked by someone
else I will get an exception from the server, but the write
protection for the file is removed anyway. Which isn't the expected
behaviour => file write protection shouldn't be removed in the sandbox.

Output of the CVSNT server:

cvs edit -x VTS_P_CscUser.pkb
VTS_P_CscUser.pkb privat Sun Feb 12 02:08:51 2006 GMT ws-94
C:\temp\test_projects\test_privat\10_Trunk\10_Core\40_PLSQL\90_VTS\10_Source
cvs server: Edit on file 'VTS_P_CscUser.pkb' refused by server
cvs edit: invalid data from cvs server

-Patrick
PS: Im working with CVSNT: 2.5.03-2151
