It supports the mysql 4 server - that's the version I use.  The client 
is only mysql3 due to licensing issues.

This doesn't generally cause issues.. there's nothing complex in the 
creation scripts, just table and index creation.  I don't think mysql5 
has changed that much that they'd break.
