I get a similar problem when I try to import or tag a module.
It stops with something like "invalid expansion option" or similar.

This happens when using a client 2.5.03.2214 against a 2.0.41 server.

Best regards,

Bo Berglund

Subject: [cvsnt] Unknown expansion option

Hi,

I get the following message when I tried to commit a remove of a binary
file:

cvs server: Unknown expansion option
cvs server: invalid RCS expansion flags

I saw that someone already encounters that error message this month and
that the solution was to edit the RCS files and correct the options with
an editor.

The problem is that I don't know which options I have to correct...

My cvs client and server version are :

Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.0.51d (client/server)
Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.5.01 (Travis) Build 1976
(client/server)

Thanks in advance!

Ronan
