[cvsnt] forcing a commit even if a trigger script says abo

Is there a way to force a commit to happen even if a trigger'd script (e.g.
verifymsg) says to abort the commit? I thought (well, hoped) cvs commit -f
might have done the trick, but it doesn't :-(

Any ideas?
