Hello,

I am working with CVSNT for windows and I have the following problem:

1. I have two files: file1.cpp and file2.cpp.

2. I don't see any difference between the files.

3. I did "add" and "commit" for both files.

4. When I look at file1.cpp,v in the server I see that its permission
field is 666

5. When I look at file2.cpp,v in the server I see that its permission
field is 233

6. When someone does "update" of file1.cpp it receives the file as
writeable

7. When someone does "update" of file2.cpp it receives the file as read
only

Why is file2.cpp received as ready only? What could affect the
permission field?

Thanks,

Nataly
