[cvsnt] Update problem

Community technical support mailing list was retired 2010 and replaced with a professional technical support team. For assistance please contact: Pre-sales Technical support via email to sales@march-hare.com.


Someone added a new file "fileXXX.pas", which is also copied onto your 
system. You should rename your local version of fileXXX.pas to eg 
fileXXX-local.pas, do a cvs update, compare the 2 files, and eventually 
merge your local changes into the cvs-version and commit the file again.

[cvsnt] Update problem






Hi,


i have a problem :)

when i try to update a file cvs returns the message: cvs [update aborted]:
cannot rename file _new_fileXXX.pas to fileXXX.pas: File exists

My server is windows2003 and a i use wincvs 2.0.9.1 (build 1) with WinXP

Can anyone help me ?
